The strong engineering capabilities of the Unit include Design Integrated CAD/CAM on a Pro-E platform, adding to PECSA’s engineering prowess not only in product development, but also in process design, Configuration Control & Management and Variation Control, etc. The Unit uses Unigraphics, Pro-E, Inventor, Catia and Auto CAD extensively for design and integration.

PECSA is experienced in a variety of graded materials such as the AMS grades of Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Inconnel, Monel, Waspaloy, Haynes Alloy, Hi-Chrome and Hi-Nickel Alloys. The unit’s expertise and capabilities also extend to various special processes like:

  •  Vacuum and controlled atmosphere heat-treatment furnaces 
  •  Cadmium plating, gold & silver plating, nickel plating and hard chrome plating
  •  Anodizing, heat treatments, passivation, and vacuum hardening
  •  Solid film lubrication, and chrome plating on ABS-PC.

A state-of-art metrology facility in PECSA is appropriately equipped with precision instruments including

  •  CMM
  •  Roundness Tester
  •  Coordinate Measuring Machine
  •  Contour Tester
  •  Video Measuring System
  •  Universal Length Measuring Machine

The unit has acquired requisite experience to support global locations with Vendor Managed Inventory and Electronic Data Interchange capability. The supply chain is integrated using SAP R3 and EDI with  customer’s portal.
